I'm so pleased to kick off the new year with a delightful new sponsor, Caitlin and her lovely shop, I don't do dishes (Love that name!).Caitlin's shop is on Etsy and while relatively new, she has already shown a great talent for picking JUST the right fabrics. And her prices are unbeatable. Seriously. Most of her fabrics are in the $8 range...standard every day price. So if she has the fabric you are looking for, you'll be hard pressed to match that price!
She has all of those lovely Lizzie House Pearl Bracelets in stock
Joel Dewberry's Latest line, Notting Hill
Tula Pink's Latest Line, Salt Water
This is my personal favorite of the collection...must buy lots!
Plus there are bunches of fabulous fabrics on the way including Angela Walters "Textures", "Comma" by Zen Chic, and "Simple Marks Summer" by Malk Dubrawsky. So keep an eye on the shop for all those new lines!
One of the fabric lines she carries is my new favorite must have...Lizzie House's Constellations! Dork alert: when I was in 8th grade my dad and I went outside every night to look at the stars as part of my study of constellations in Earth Science. Pretty sure I'm the only one in the class who ACTUALLY did that assignment every night. lol So I have a thing for Constellations.
And I bet you've guessed it. Caitlin is generously giving away an 18 piece fat quarter bundle of the entire Constellations collection to one lucky winner. (Once again...wishing I could enter my own giveaways)
To enter the giveaway:
1. Hop over to Caitlin's shop, I don't do Dishes, and leave me a comment here letting me your favorite fabric of hers OR what fabric you would like for her to carry in the shop.
For extra entries:
• "Like" my new Facebook Page or tell me you already do. Still trying this new newfangled thing out. ;)
• Tell me your favorite Constellation! I'm an Orion fan myself because even when I lived in NOLA and you could barely see the stars because of the city lights, I could always find Orion.
Good luck to you all!

(And what a better way to look than by laying on a beautiful quilt made by these fabrics!!!)

ReplyDeleteI really like the Wild Carrot print from the Medrona Road line.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have already like your page on FB.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Los Angeles, and as you might know, the bright lights of a big city really obscure the stars. I never got much farther than the Big Dipper
ReplyDeleteI'm not very good at finding constellations, to tell you the truth, just the major ones: Orion, Ursa Major, and Ursa Minor. If I had to pick a favorite, I guess I would say a formation more than a constellation: the Pleiades.
ReplyDeleteI like your facebook page - thanks for the chance to win!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Lucky Penny Bike Path prints.
ReplyDeleteI like your Facebook page.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked the Big Dipper - I imagine lots of stars pouring out of it like liquid silver.

ReplyDeleteI used to be pretty good at picking out constellations. Then we moved out to the country where the number of stars is ridiculous - you can actually see the milky way! I'm going to have to learn my constellations all over again because they are so hard to pick out now.
ReplyDeleteI would like her to carry Blend Fabrics, specifically Charlotte Lyons "Tilly" line. I love this line and haven't found any place that carries the whole line. It is a fabulous fabric.

ReplyDeletemy favorite is the little dipper... bc it's the only one i can ever find!
ReplyDeleteI also love Orion!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite constellation is the Milky Way, mostly because I live in the north and it is the one that stands out the most. When I look up and see it, it comforts me that it is at this time at least, enduring. If I look out at the other stars and start thinking about the smallness of us in the universe, it has a tendency to freak me out. So I'll stick with finding the Milky Way and maintaining sanity.
ReplyDeleteI love the Salt Water line!
